EDITORIAL 10 years of innovation Dear readers, ten years ago, the idea for this magazine came into the world. We had the idea to publish a journal that follows the industry all around the globe. Today, we can proudly announce, that this dream became reality. We were (and still are) successful. WORLD OF INDUSTRIES offers you all the latest from the different worlds of motion and drives, industrial automation as well as intralogistics and supply chain management. Thanks to our collaboration with the Deutsche Messe AG, we are always right at the heartbeat of the industry. We report live from the fairgrounds all around the world and offer you comprehensive insights into the different markets and innovations all around the globe. In this special issue of WORLD OF INDUSTRIES, we celebrate our 10 year anniversary by looking back and retelling the history of this magazine but also by recollecting different highlights of our publishing history. Thus, you will find an extensive interview with the masterminds behind WORLD OF INDUSTRIES, Dr. Michael Werner, the publishing director behind this magazine, and Christian Kluge, Director International Relations of Deutsche Messe AG, on pages 6-7. Additionally, we put together our favorite job reports and the most spectacular success stories from the last ten years (pages 8-9). But in the end, it is not enough to solely reminisce. Of course, we dare to look into the future, too. Therefore, we will ask business leaders in this issue as well as in the upcoming ones what their expectations for the next ten years look like (page 35).
